Enhanced Slab On Grade LASRE Slab System
The Low Anticipated Swell-Radon Evacuation (LASRE) slab uses unique dome shaped forms to create a concrete slab system that is much less likely to move compared to a traditional slab on grade.
About LASRE Slabs
✔️ Useful where native soils have been excavated and re-compacted
✔️ Allows for swell potentials up to 1.5%
✔️ LASRE forms on basement sub-grade take the place of peagravel backfill
✔️ Increased dead load better resists soil heaving
✔️ Continuous air chambers allow for radon to be removed and vented with a pipe and fan
✔️ For use in foundations bearing on footings
Specs
Concentrated dead load on soil approximately 20 times greater than typical slab on grade
Soil expansion is contained within tunnels created by dome shaped forms
